Some numbers from our trip, along with pictures of some of the ways we got from place to place:
329 days.
29 states; 20 new to at least one of us.
34 countries; 31 new to at least one of us.
40 flights, and 55,000 miles
34,000 pictures, in 528 GB of disk space.
2,700 pictures posted; 1,300 more to post.
201 blog posts (and counting); 153 outside the US, 29 on the road trip, and 19 pre-trip.
8 haircuts (3 Lana; 5 David).
Lots of firsts. Lots of great experiences; a few miserable ones. Lots of great meals, and a handful of so-so ones. Lovely people in every single country.
One fantastic trip. And one marriage that’s stronger than it was when we started out. We can’t say the same for our bank account, but we have no regrets there.
